On August 28th 2024, seven participants joined an outdoor event at Via Ferrata Vír, organized by Four Links. The day started with an introduction to ferratas and a briefing on safety procedures, followed by practical exercise on tying prusik knot. Then, the group completed the ferrata route, enhancing their skills and understanding of climbing safety.
The event was a success, with all participants gaining valuable hands-on experience. After a comprehensive safety briefing and equipment check, the group practiced tying the prusik knot before heading to the ferrata route. Under Aneta's guidance, everyone learned how to secure themselves on the ferrata rope using the prusik knot. The participants were enthusiastic and confident as they navigated the route, applying their newly acquired skills. By the end of the day, the group not only completed the ferrata but also developed a deeper understanding of climbing safety and techniques, leaving them eager for future adventures.
