Recently Žilina hosted super exciting paragliding weeks. The event brought together a happy community who were able to celebrate the joy of flying.
One of the main reasons the activity was so awesome was because the weather was just perfect. The sun was shining, the wind was gentle, and the air currents were just right for paragliding. These days were organized by X-Air, who gave the opportunity for more than 80 people to try paragliding with committed instructors help.
First the participants were taught how to use the safety methods which are the essential parts of paragliding.
After the safety part the time has finally come to put on their gears and get ready to spring away from the ground. As they were running down from the hill trying to fly for a few meters, joy and liberation could be seen on their faces. Their laughter and the colorful parachutes painted the sky with the happiness of a day filled with new adventures and shared success.
The beginning is always hard but at the end of the day everyone was satisfied with the results. If we would need to describe the open weeks with one word only it would probably be "successful".
